Between 10am and 3:30pm on the first Saturday of every month we’re running a special online version of our monthly Faith Trail in real-time so you enjoy it even if we can’t do it in person at the moment!
1:15pm It’s time to enter the Gurdwara and enjoy a talk about Sikhism and the practices of Sikhs.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji Gurdwara:
Guru Gobind Singh Ji Gurdwara was the first purpose-built Gurdwara in Bradford and the UK and was opened for service on 29th March 1964. The Gurdwara (meaning the house of God) is the Sikh place of spiritual worship and a religious cultural learning centre for the young as well as the old.
This Gurdwara takes its name from the tenth master, Guru Gobind Singh Ji who, in 1699 in Anandpur Sahib in Panjab established the new order of divinely inspired people known as the Khalsa, to preach and practise truth and righteousness and to fight for human rights.
