Our wonderful ‘Saturday Singers’ children’s community choir, who recently produced a stunning rendition of “My Lighthouse”, are looking for a new name!
Their rehearsals have moved to a Wednesday, so continuing to call them the Saturday Singers seems a bit silly!
You can submit as many name suggestions as you want by heading over to our form or using the embedded version below!
The Brief
We are mainly looking for a catchy and creative name.
But, to give you some background, here are some points about the choir:
1) They are a fun and relaxed children’s community choir
2) They are linked with Bradford Cathedral
3) They sing on a Wednesday
Your name can reflect all of these points, some of them, or none of them – it doesn’t matter! But they are worth considering.
Closing date and time
Entries must be received to us by Sunday, March 7 2021 at 23:59. After the closing date, our expert panel of judges in the cathedral’s Music Team (think Strictly Come Dancing, but younger) will pick their favourite name.
The winner will receive some very tasty LINDOR CHOCOLATES (having received them for many a Christmas, I can assure you that they are delicious).
The new name will be revealed at our Mothering Sunday eucharist on Sunday the 14th of March, where the Saturday Singers – with their new name – will also be performing a piece of music.
Anyone of any age can make a submission, so do please share this far and wide. We would love to be able to pick from lots of ideas, and the form is very easy to fill out!
