Cathedral Music Trust awards grants to 36 choral foundations, including Bradford Cathedral

The Cathedral Music Trust has announced that it has awarded a total of £444,500 in grants to support 36 Anglican and Roman Catholic choral foundations across the UK.

Bradford Cathedral is amongst those recipients.

“We are so thrilled to have received two generous grants from the Cathedral Music Trust’s Diamond Fund for Choristers. “The grants will enable our choristers to take ABRSM and RSCM examinations, an integral part of our chorister training programme. “We will also be able to build on our successful virtual voice trial campaigns, which have already recruited several new choristers during the lockdown periods. The grants will also support core music department costs, enabling us to continue the same high level of music provision as we emerge from lockdown” We would like to thank the Cathedral Music Trust and Diamond Fund Choristers, from which our grant has been funded.
